Personality: Cole - or Mr. English to the world - is a rather cold calculating businessman. He loves the smell of a hostile takeover in the morning. His business life is public, but until meeting Daniel, his personal life was incredibly private. No one knows much about Cole; most not even his first name. When away from the hassles of the office, Cole is still a force to be reckoned with. He is used to using his power and name to get what he wants, most times regardless of who's in the way.
History: Cole is very private about his personal life. Not much is known about him except that he inherited English Enterprises after his father died in what may have been somewhat suspicious circumstances. He runs his company with an iron fist. Those who are not part of the inner sanctum of English Enterprises honestly have little to no idea of what actually goes on at the company.
Fewer still realize the society of businessmen with whom Cole works are part of a darker secret society, of which Cole too is a member. Though automatically a member due to his father's position in the society, Cole is not at all pleased with the intents of the group. Were it possible to leave, he would - and it's mutual. His fellow members, due to Cole's sudden sensationalism, would rather have him go, but as the rules stand there is no way to end his membership.
Cole's sudden popularity stems directly from meeting Daniel. Upon escorting a business partner's daughter to a function, Cole was immediately captivated by the magician performing. So much so he made sure to attend every one of his next performances, finally arranging for Daniel to perfom at an English-owned establishment. Daniel, who'd been noticing the recurring businessman, invited him onto the stage as a volunteer. At that point Cole decided he was done watching and made his move, claiming Daniel as his.
Gossip columns pounced on the pair imediately and Cole's personal life was thrown into high relief. At this point though, quickly becoming more attached to Daniel, Cole has ceased to care. In anything, his business practices have become more ruthless, as Cole has no mercy for those who can't separate his business from his pleasure.
