Personality: Julien is, in short, not a very nice person. He's
snobby, conceited and knows damn well
just how attractive and rich he is. He rarely initiates a conversation
with anyone he feels is below him. Often he'll just walk away
if he feels he's finished speaking. But below the snotty exterior is
someone less confident than he looks, someone who pushes people away
before they can get too close.
History: Julien grew up just like any other spoiled rich kid in
Beverly Hills. And for the first twelve years of his life, that was
fine. It was fine even when he knew
the biggest and really only thing his father expected of him was to
take over his company. It was not fine however, when he started
deterring Julien
from anything not business oriented. That was a shame, because Julien
had unbelievable musical talent. he could pick up a guitar and play
without a single lesson,
and the voice that came out of him when he sang was rich and beautiful.
Julien's father saw no future in his music and over the next few years,
made sure Julien never 'wasted his time' singing. It took a while to
squelch the desire,
but Julien did as his father ordered. And then things really fell apart.
His parents began fighting. Daily. It grew to the point where each
started using Julien as a weapon against the other, finally leading to
their divorce. In his mother's custody, Julien
grew poisoned against his father, an easy thing when reminded of how he
was forced to give up the one thing that ever actually made him happy.
His mother's health began to deteriorate as well, her mental health.
The last move his father made concerning her wa sto admit her to a
psychiatric hospital. Julien has told no one of his mother's condition,
be frequently disappears to visit and take care of her.
In college, Julien met Shiro Hidaka, a boy who plays and sings
with the same unrestrained passion Julien wished he could show in his
own music. Drawn to him, Julien wasted little time in declaring Shiro
his. It was Shiro's influence now that made the music in Julien
slowly resurface.
But predictably, Julien left something that could have been good for him, knowing he didn't feel the
same about Shiro as Shiro felt for him. Not much later, a chance encounter led him to
Cameron Montegna. Initally interested by Cameron's looks and the fact he was not put off by Julien's
attitude, Julien discovered Cameron's incredible ability to dance [among other things] and it was only a
matter of time before he slipped under Julien's confident and conceited front. This time
however, Julien wasn't running away.
