Personality: Matteo is outgoing and personable, He likes going out, especially to clubs and bars, and having a good time. He's charming, and more than a bit of a playboy, mostly because he hasn't found anyone who's done more than briefly catch his eyes. Yet.
History: Matteo is the middle of five children, two older sisters and two younger. He might have developed typical middle child syndrome, expcet he was the only son, and therefore had lots of attention thrust onto him. Along with attention came expectation however, and it soon became clear Mateo's flighty, airy nature did not equate well with his father's solid, down-to-earth expectations of him.
At age eighteen, Matteo left home to avoid being married off to the charming young lady his parents had chosen for him, a match that was very old-fashioned, but for the fact Matteo had already breifly couretd and slept with the girl of choice, and decided she wasn't the one for him. He left Italy traveling north through Europe, landing briefly in London before leaving entirely for the US.
It was avoidance that kept him traveling, but after a few years he was bitten by the travel bug and couldn't stay in one place for long. He moved from Miami to New Orleans to Los Angeles - where he had a brief but memorable encounter with a set of identical Greek twins - to Chicago to New York, leaving the states entirely and heading up into Canada. After a few weeks there, Matteo packed up and headed back across the Atlantic to London, after a call from his youngest sister. He's slowly working his way back home, missing his sisters, but not at all thrilled to see his parents, particularly his father again.
But a chance encounter in London may turn to something more, leading Matteo down a road he never thought he'd make it to.
