Name: Victor Howard
Age/Date of Birth: 22/January 1st, 1985
Place of Birth: Chicago, IL
Current Residence: Chicago, IL
Height: 5' 10"
Occupation: Student
Family: Father, Edward; Mother, Kitty.
Pets: None
Past Relationships: One girlfriend - Adriana
Current relationship: Something's in the works.

Personality: Whether or not he likes to be labeled, Victor is definitely emo. He dresses in black, has emotional episodes and listens to goth, punk and emo music. That aside, he is very reclusive and quiet, soft-spoken and quite a loner. He rarely speaks, unless spoken to, and sometimes not even then.

History: Victor did not have an easy childhood. Only son of rich country-clubbers, Victor had a hard time making friends. Everyone was snobby and conceited, except the country club staff, who Victor actually got on well with. Upon reaching Junior high, Victor finally made friends with a brother and sister, Dillon and Adriana Sheridan. However they all nearly immediately fell in with the wrong crowd.

One thing led to another and it wasn't long before Victor was smoking, drinking and doing hard drugs. Nor was it long before he and Adriana started dating. Dillon was not pleased at first, but as Victor was his best friend, grew accustomed. Then one night, after far too much to drink [and smoke and snort] all three decided to get tattooed. The shady place they went to did not care they they were under the influence and underage - they had money. It was after they were finished Victor noticed something was wrong with Adriana. She was showing definite signs of an overdose. Panicking, Victor immediately ushered them all to the car where he tried to drive to the hospital. But there were too many chemicals in his system. He lost control of the car, and they crashed. Dillon, in the front seat, wearing no seatbelt, was thrown clear. All three fell unconscious. By the time the police found them, Adriana had died. She was fifteen. The boys were sixteen.

Dillon was bad off. The landing had severed nerves in his spine, leaving him unable to walk. Victor had been wearing his seatbelt, and managed to get out with barely a scrape, one long scar along his hairline the only physical evidence of the accident. But the emotional ones were deep. Dillon blamed Victor for everything and their friendship fell apart. Feeling guilty and betrayed, Victor left their high school, closed in on himself, and slowly ceased being at all happy. His parents steadily worried about him, but never having been there for him growing up, had no idea what to do for him now.

Victor retreated further into himself, a shadow of the boy he'd been. He made no new friends, and in fact avoided all kinds of relationships, scared he'd either drive them away, or hurt them worse. Until the day a chance encounter dropped a new person into his life and his home, a deaf Native American boy named Kit who might just be able to break through the invisible wall Victor'd spent four years constructing.

Favorite flavor: Peppermint.
